how do clothes work exactly? like maybe im just dumb, but the whole temperature thingy isn't very clear to me, and i don't think it's written in detail anywhere. maybe im just dumb, as i said. but yeah the whole thing confuses me a bit
Think of it like a number. When everything is right, temperature is at 0. Sometimes it will move from -2 (very cold) to +2 (very hot) when Months changes. All races have different temperature range they like (it's written if you over their race icon), but most will prefer neutral (0) temperature. While you can disregard that, they exhaust way quicker if they have the bad temperature. Hot/Cold Clothes can change the perceived temperature by a girl, allowing it to bear the change of one level. You can also build furniture to directly change the temperature of the room.
Humans only like Warm/Neutral Temperature therefore:
-If it's cold (-1) and you put Cold Clothes on them, all is fine. - If it's very cold (-2) and you put Cold Clothes, they will still not be in a correct range so you can buy a Stove in the furniture that you turn On by clicking on it. The room is now only -1, and the Cold Clothes do the rest.
Undressing a girl make her bear 1 level hotter, but she will then only accept +1 temperature, while hot clothes allow her to accept 0 and +1.
Considering how much people have requesting it, this is something we consider, but not our current priority. The gameplay was really thought for a mouse so we can't just port it easily.
I'm sorry, please do read the description of the rooms before building them. To cool off you should consider buying furnitures, buy need clothes or just undress your girls.
Obviously im just joking... But that would be a cool addition in possible future. Like be able to let girls hang out in the pool, making them have 0-1 heat in hot and very hot times and -1 heat at cold ones. It could work both as a chill room (bonus to relaxing) and as a client room (maybe adding a "likes pool room/normal room" would be cool)
:thinking-emoji:
Also would be cool if you add an customer satisfaction counter next to/instead of the colored thumbs up thumbs down emoji thingy.
A tip or a small text when you hover over it to know how that would satisfaction affect your girls/how much they would tip or pay if satisfaction is this value or another, if it even the case and its not just for my parlor reputation.
I don't want to put too much data in front of the player (will scare most casual players) so that's why i keep some level of obfuscation, at least for now. The color of the thumbs up is scaling with the expected satisfaction. Parlor reputation only affect the number of customers (and reputation rank affects rooms/items/race available). Satisfactions only come from the Girl and the Room.
Satisfaction does impact tips a lot, it's pretty much the only factor. The Customer will always try to pay the base price of the girls, which is according to her level, if they have any money left they might tip depending on their satisfaction level (their max tip is the amount showed on top of them).
Great game, I hope it is very early in development so there will be more of it later. The only bug I found was the with the UI elements overlapping in the shopping and building menus sometimes. Closing and opening the menus solved it, though. I hope there will be more magical elements in the gameplay, maybe tied to an NPC. Speaking of it, I have two suggestions about gameplay:
Permanent Rewards for each city depending on the difficulty, like an item or a permanent girl
Ability to carry on something from the previous cities, so the player effort doesn't go to waste
This is actually a cute game. Took me a bit of trial and error to figure out, but that is my experience with most games. Even with a will well written tutorial it takes a bit of trial and error to get the hang of a game, so this is not criticism of how you explained the game. I did have a question, wondering if I missed something.
So I first played a little bit of the game in browser. Thought I finished the tutorial, got called away from computer. When I came back I decided to just download the game. Thinking I already finished the tutorial part, I clicked on skipping the game tutorial. Then later I discovered I can click on women behind the deck in the lobby (sorry I don't trust myself to spell their names correctly). It brought up a menu labeled shifts, and I not sure to do with it. So did I unknowingly skip over the part were they explain this?
Side note: I did also encountered a bug which someone else explained in the post below this one. I replied to that post explaining I encounter the same bug with a different version then they were playing.
And I just now noticed the character behind the counter is named after your screen or company name. So I could just looked the developer's name to spell her name correctly. 😅I will try to remember that in the future.
I don't know if this is fixed in 1.1.1 but Elven city, Mission 3.
Reach 750 reputation, I started the mission with good 500 reputation and it imidiatelly completed, it played the cutscene and lead me to Mission 4 with rank reputable, even i never ranked up.
Im sorry in advance for posting bugs from an older version, i just don't want to start over since i have the game running the entire time on my second screen and every time i feel like it I play another day.
Also there is an negligible bug when you set your PC to standby while the game is running it messes up the "days hired" values. I managed to have girls hired -6 days ago (they work for me 6 more days before i hire them ?!?).
Is it possible to transfer my save to the newer version?
My version seems to be 1.1.1 version and I think I also encountered that Elven city bug in mission 3 as well. I was really confused. I did not know what happened, or what trigger it so I did not know how to write a report about. So thank you for your post, you wrote about the problem better then I would have. Thus allowing me to state I have also had this encounter in the 1.1.1 version, meaning you were not alone in encountering this.

thanks a lot, it makes way more sense now. thx for responding and the game is super fun. good luck and have a nice day to y'all.
a really cute game. i really liked the management aspects of the game.
i recently unlocked mermaids and the pool, may i know how to make them service the customers?
Just put the mermaid and the customer in your pool!
>In the future we plan [...] more polish
Nie mogę się doczekać
Do I intend to make a Mobile version in the future?
Considering how much people have requesting it, this is something we consider, but not our current priority. The gameplay was really thought for a mouse so we can't just port it easily.
Why cant i put girls in a pool to make them cool off in the very hot situations man
I lost a lot of money from that >:(

soooo... satisfaction does not affect tips?
(the satisfaction when you serve a customer)

Btw keybinding wouldnt work for me for some reason. (Web ver, windows pc)
Keybinding are currently broken for the web version for some reason, they only work on the exe version.
I'm not sure what the issue might be, but it seems that my version of the game is stuck 0.17.
Nevermind. It seems like I have multiple application files and itch has been reading 0.17 instead of the newest update.
Will you be creating a Linux compatible version? I recently swapped to Linux and want to replay this game again
If there is enough demand sure, we just don't have any Linux PC ourselves so we can't test it.

Story-wise we are about 50% done more or less. Mechanically (not races, animations, worlds or bonus hscenes) it's rather 80%.

If you click on Echydna, it's the very WIP Automation screen. it's not yet explained because it's not fully implemented yet.
Okay.

it was a reputation bug that got fixed in 1.3, bear with it for a little while, sorry.
